June started with Cameron's graduation. We could not go because of Covid 19 so we watched it on line. It was an amazing ceremony and took very little time for how many graduates there were. The speakers were all students and they did a wonderful job and each gave a very brief talk. Wonderful.
Cameron is blonde on right
A little insert here that I didn't get a picture until way later. It is of our family, including Del and Brigita at Pine Valley.
The best thing about June 2nd was that Kolton Bayles opened his mission call with a yard full of friends and family. His grandparents were still here from Washington so it was very special. He brought many tears when he announced that he wanted to bear his testimony first. It was very powerful and from his heart. What an impressive young man. He has been called to the Ghana Kumasi Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints and leaves September 15th. Parker gets home the 16th. Kolton says that is just fine because the Lord knows all about it. He is so ready.
That same time Jonny had started a 26 mile marathon run. He was so determined to do it and it was such a hot day. before the race
encouragement during the race well deserved finish all 26 milesThe next day was Parker's 3rd (fird) birthday. He is now 20 years old and loving serving in Japan. He was in Japan and then sent home because of Covid and released. Then called to Eugene, Oregon for a few months and then back to Japan. He has had quite an experience and loved both areas he served in. He is an amazing missionary. It is so hard to teach on line and not in person but they are doing well.
Baylie was given a music award for outstanding instrumental musician. We are so proud of her.
June 5th we heard a noise and knew it was balloons in the sky. We love it when this happens. This time they came very close to our neighbor's house.Dad was very excited to put up a flag just for Kolton. The next day he put up all of the missionary flags. Couldn't decide which picture we liked the best.

Sunday afternoon Bethany and girls took me to St. George for our annual ladies outing. It is always so fun. We meet Tiffani and her girls there and just play really hard for4 days. They found a condo on the first floor so I didn't even have to do stairs. It was really nice and had a large back yard that with a view over the city to the mountains.
Monday morning the girls got up and went swimming in one of several pools with a huge slide that Rowan just loved. I did not swim. That afternoon we got our nails done at such a fun place. They were so nice.
With our nails so pretty they decided to shop 'till we got hungry. Of course we had some treats in here somewhere. After Chick-filet we went to Tuacahn for Beauty and the Beast. It was so wonderful and well done. Rowan was all eyes.
We loved visiting on the bed.
Tuesday we had breakfast at Waffle Love and then shopped 'till we dropped again. The girls bought finger rings and let me choose what I wanted. So fun. They went back for another swim and then got ready for the evening. We ate at pizza Factory. The play was Annie but it hardly ever had the girls in it so it wasn't as much fun but Rowan bowed at the end every time again.
We headed home Wednesday morning so Bethany could pick up Nixon after his soccer camp at BYU. It was a fun few days filled with memories and traditions.
June 10th was Lily's 16th birthday. She is such a special young lady. She was such a quiet and timid young girl but has jumped into a secure and determined young lady. She is amazing and nothing can get in her way. She is beautiful in every way and can out work any one. She can find good in anything. She knows who she is and what she needs to do to follow the teachings of her Savior. (I know this is the same picture I put in last month but I love it.)
Sunday we had dinner for her birthday. Grandma and Grandma Goats were there. It's always fun with the great grandchildren are there. We had as always a yummy dinner of shrimp in a sauce dipped with yummy bread. The salad was so good with all kinds of veggies in it. It was finished with Mountain High Strawberry Pie cake to die for. After dinner we all sat around Lily and each one told why she is so wonderful and her qualities we admire. It was just a great evening. We all got to talk to Riley on the phone.
Monday the 14th, we had our tankless water heater installed and the next day our new fridge. Everything is needing help at the same time.
Wednesday evening was the Strawberry Days Rodeo which we look forward to. It did not disappoint. Some of the Cooks were there too. Check out Scotty's brand new cowboy hat!
Love this picture of Granddad and Nixon.
Saturday, the 19th was the big parade in Pleasant Grove. We love this parade because it goes right in front of Erik's house and he provides breakfast for all their ward members. The members bring a lot of the food and it is just a great time for them to visit. When the parade is over you would never know anyone had been here. The members get together and clean everything up. It's a great time.

Sunday was so special because it was FATHER'S DAY. We are so grateful for our fathers' They taught us from the beginning the importance of following our Savior, Jesus Christ and always loving us. They worked hard and made sure we were taught how to work to live by faith and honor. We love and honor them. Grandad Bayles

I am so grateful for the wonderful father our children have. He was given to me by the Lord and I am so blessed to have him in my life. He is my everything. He honors his priesthood and tries every day to do good. He is my constant in any storm. I am so safe in every way with him as my helpmeet. He absolutely loves being a father and Granddad. I could never have found a better man on my own.
Monday not only the boys, but the whole family came to work on the yard. They did it so much faster and it was so much fun to have them all.
Somewhere in there we got a new mower.Monday not only the boys, but the whole family came to work on the yard. They did it so much faster and it was so much fun to have them all.
Monday, the 21st, Clark came to add a hive to the bees and brought Dad his new tree trunk to put an anvil on. We had to get Brother Piggott and his son, Chase to help move it.
Thursday the 24th we got up early to do 2 sealing sessions in the temple. It was such an exciting time to be able to be in such a sacred place and do the work for our kindred dead. It was just a taste of heaven and we can't wait to go again. That afternoon I saw Dr. Rogers about a growth on my arm. He took a biopsy and froze other places. He gave me a prescription for a cancer cream on my chest.Friday we started to weed in the garden and got a call that Nixon had a soccer game in SLC at 8:00. We hurried to the game and then got home and weeded. I forgot to eat or drink so had a very rough afternoon. We did pick lots of peas and squash.
We were again in SLC Saturday for another of Nixon's games.
Sunday was another wonderful Sabbath. Chris Wilcox gave an incredible talk and Brother Griffin, a fairly new member in our ward, sang and most touching "A Poor Wayfaring Man of Grief". It stirred my soul and caused tears. Relief Society was also well done and Brother Jarman gave a wonderful Priesthood lesson.
Tuesday we were able to do initiatories again. What a blessing. That night at 1:00 Tiff's family came for a few days before going on to a family reunion at Bear Lake. Of course they brought Titan.
The month is over before it even started. We are so blessed to have the continuous blessings of the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ. We are especially blessed to have the wonderful children and their families. They keep us happy and safe. We love how they watch out for us and take care of so many things that are getting difficult. We love this family of ours.
