POST CHRISTMAS

Baylie loved being in Utah
Monday morning I got up, showered and did the laundry so I would be ready for surgery at 1:00.  All went well but my knee was torn more than the doctor had expected so recovery was more difficult.   I didn’t handle it well at all.  It was definitely not fun.
I don’t know when the kids played in the snow because they were always out in the cold.  Just some cute pictures.

Erik’s family came over for the new year.  We watched football and ate all day.
Jan. 3rd we went to Ashley and Tyler’s reception in Francis.  It was wonderful.  Clark and Dianne had worked very hard to be ready for this.  Dad took the backdrop up that Scott had built.  It was just a lovely evening.
One wonderful thing was that Yolanda and her family were there.  Yolanda is Teresia’s sister.  Teresia is Clark’s first wife who died 5 months after they were married.  Dianne and Clark stay in close touch with the entire family.  It’s just wonderful.

The next morning Dad left to take some of the things from the reception to Tyler’s family because they were having a reception.  He didn’t get home until 2:00.  Scott, Nixon and Erik’s family came for the afternoon.  More football.

Kristin left Sunday.  They rented an ity bity car.  We will have to ship the one box that didn’t fit.  I just know how they got themselves in with all that luggage.

We rested all day.  Dad went to church but I was just too wigged out from everything and knew my knee was not ready to go out.  We are looking forward to a wonderful 2014 and are thankful for our family and friends and especially the restored Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our 2013 was so good.
