MARCH AND LITTLE GREEN LEPRECHAUNS

Wednesday, March first was a trip to Dr. Tristoni, who found a stitch that didn’t dissolve.  She shot me with a laser gun about 10 times.  I guess I had more than 24 stitches.  I didn’t know some were hiding.  She is an amazing doctor.  I will use sunscreen from now on.

The next day I got up to get ready for the Payson Temple. I really did not feel well.  When we got ready to leave, Dad asked me some questions but I couldn’t form any words.  I rested on the couch and we went to the temple. Ruth helped me.  Of course we went to IHOP after.  We then went to the Seamon’s home to plan our Arizona Temple trip.  Their home is amazing.  It’s like a museum with everything you can imagine.

                           Max|'s vintage Mustang

One level just for her villages.  Wall to the floor of amazing trucks and stuff.  They are just so much fun and very giving.  When we got home I rested and slept until 6:00 that night.

Friday, I was confused all day not knowing if I paid the bills correctly.  Who knows?

The next day we watched the girls play Club volleyball. I thought that would be nice but their coaches blew it.  We watch it through technology.  They played well but we were frustrated.

                                                                         Clara
                                                                        Lauryn
I know this is a bad picture but it's all I have with both girls in.
Sunday, we watched more volleyball.  I had a very hard day and didn’t stay for the second hour of church.  Monday was more volleyball and they played much better.

Tuesday, we  canceled the temple because I still didn’t feel very good.  Again I was not making sense with words.  We called Dr. Luni and we went to his Orem office.  He then made an appointment with our Neurologist.  I slept all day.

Thursday Dad had a CAT SCAN to check on his aneurism.  It hasn’t changed so we feel so very blessed.

Friday, March 10th, Dad gave Brother Gillie a ride to the temple.  He is such a fine man but has Tourette Syndrome and can't drive.  He loves the temple.  That afternoon the furnace men came to clean out our furnace vents.  It was embarrassing they were so dirty.

Kristin spent a great deal of time working on my blog last month. I just can’t do it by myself.

                                                              Today Molly turned 20.

She is such a special young lady and loves her Savior.   She is an outstanding missionary and serves with all her heart.  We sent her some money and  hope it helped her.  She sent me this picture because I am related to President Lincoln because of his mother Nancy Hanks.

I finally sent out my February blog with much help from Kristin.  I couldn’t do it without her help.  Clark, Dianne, Lily and Jonny came over just for a visit.  We love when they do that. They are so thoughtful.  I am still not doing very well but it will get better.  I’m just so weak all the time.

March 12 was another hard day.  George cooked a yummy dinner and I slept all day.

Sunday was another hard day.  I took several naps.  George worked on genealogy.  He cooked another great meal.  I don’t know what I would do without him.  He is just so wonderful.

Monday was another hard day and I took several naps while Dad worked on names down in his Man Cave.  He cooked another wonderful dinner.  He is the best!

The next day was perfect.  I did 8 initiatories and then a session with dad.  He went shopping and I took a nap. Every now and again I am putting in a snow picture because that is what we have had all month.  We are so blessed to receive this moisture.  We need it so badly and will help fill up all the reservoirs.                                 Wednesday morning we went to the Edgemont Stake Center for a tour of a replica of the ancient Tabernacle.  It was amazing.  I didn’t know it was so huge and that they carried it on their journey to the promised land.  It poured buckets and it was so very cold, but we didn’t even care. We were there for over an hour and didn’t realize it until we got back in our car.  I was very glad dad had put in my walker. Before and after the guided tour in the Tabernacle we had members telling what everything meant.  After the tour we went to the cultural hall again, with members answering any questions and we followed a path showing pictures of everything.  They had models of everything and big charts and pictures of many things.  I would go again if it ever comes our way again.  The tabernacle and all the huge pictures were moved in a huge semi.  I just don’t know how the Israelites moved from place to place until they settled in the Promised Land.  No wonder it took so much time.  When we got home I took a nap and didn't wake up until 5:00.

The next morning, Thursday we went to the Payson Temple and did a session with the Seamons and of course IHOP.  We had an appointment with my neurologist after that.  Worthless.  I will never go to him again.  I went 6 months ago and we were not impressed with him then.

Friday the 17th we met with Jason to do our taxes.  He does such a good job and suggested we change some of our investments so we get more interest.  We feel very good about what he planned for us.  He’s younger than Scott. But he has helped us so many times.

Sunday, the 19th, is always our favorite day. Cameron comes for the evening and we enjoy him so much.  He can go on a service mission but can’t decide.  It’s a lifetime decision that he needs to make.

Monday we got our Shingles booster shot.  My arm is still swollen, hot and red. (a week later)

Dad walked 2.0 miles and I walked 1.2.  This is really helping me.

Tuesday, the 21st  we did an endowment and then sealed 3 adults and 10 children had a hard time but it was so worth it..  It just doesn’t get better than that.  It was so wonderful to be in the temple and do service for our kindred dead.

Wednesday  we walked again and are going to do that 3 days a week.  It has really made a difference in our health.

Thursday, the 23, found us at the Payson temple.  We love the beauty of that temple and love to feel the Spirit we feel in every temple we are in.  It is just a part of heaven.  I did the work for Elizabeth Clark and cried when I was at the veil.  I know she was there.  IHOP after and then rested the rest of the day.

Friday, the 24th Cameron came over to open presents from us and his family.  He was so excited.  The Niki shoes were perfect.  He is now 20.

Somewhere in here Cameron came over and Granddad handed him the snow blower.  He did the neighbors.

Saturday we left food on the porch for people to gather and distribute.  Cameron came over for pizza and the NCAA ball games.
The next morning, Sunday, we drove to Springville to hear Ashley Bayles’s farewell talk before leaving for her mission to the Ukraine.  She is Mark and Kay's granddaughter and Kelly's daughter. She will be a great missionary.  Her whole family was there with many friends.  We sat with Amie, her husband and new baby girl. Amie is Sherrie Cochran’s daughter. They were there for the farewell.  They are so happy with this little baby girl.  We left our umbrella there and had to get it another day.

Cameron came over after his interview with his bishop and had hamburgers with us.  We then left for Clark and Dianne’s and Cameron’s Birthday party.  He was so excited when he saw his huge BYU cake.                                                           Scott and Cameron

Of course it  was white with blue trim.  We  had bought the cake, 4 gallons of ice cream, 20 candles, and all the plates etc.  Dianne was so nice to offer their home because that is just too hard for me to do.  The children love Cameron and he loves them. Dianne and Clark are so giving.  Cameron was in Heaven.  He loved every minute and all 3 brothers and their families were there.  It was so fun to just be together.  The kids kept sticking out their tongues to show off the blue icing.

                                                                       Blowing
Blowing blue frosting is so much fun.
                                                           almost everyone
Cameron was so thrilled with everything an we do have a great family who supports everyone.

Tuesday we again did a session and sealed 3 couples and 10 children.  It is so exciting to see this happen.

Thursday the 30th, Seamons came to Provo to go with us to the temple because the Payson one was closed for cleaning.  We love that because then after we go to Charley’s Cheese      for lunch.

Friday, Scott and the family came on their way to Disneyland to leave Leah for a week.  She is a good dog but is a drooler.

This has been a very cold and snowy March but we need the moisture for the summer and even next year.  We are so blessed with the snow storms so often.  We are ready for April and working in the garden and yard.  We love our family and all the Grands and Greats.  They fill our hearts with joy.  Our missionaries are always in our prayers as well and a prayer is never said that we don’t mention every one.  We love y'all.

Molly continues to serve faithfully with enthusiasm

We don't have a picture of Elder Kolton this month, sorry.
