George is
still doing so well on his therapy for his knee replacement and is way ahead of
where they expected him to be. I am still down with the flu but it will
get better.
Friday,
George went to Molly's basketball game. They won. There was no way
I could go and so no pictures. I hate not watching her play and being
with the family. Dianne sent Dad home with a most yummy chicken and rice
crock pot dinner. It was so good not to have to get out of bed. Dad
has been doing everything around here; even walking 3-4 miles a day.
Feb. 3rd Scott Cherry had a serious foot surgery so we decided to take them some dinner. The Bushes had brought us dinner from Brick Oven one day so we did the same for the Cherrys. After ordering it we thought we might a well order us some too. What a mistake---It was so good we may do it again.
The next
day was Sunday so I decided to go to church. It was way harder than we
thought it would be. I didn't last. We watched the Super Bowl
just because we wanted Parker's Eagles to win and they did. We were so
happy for him.
Tuesday
and Wednesday we went to the temple and actually did better than we thought we
would. It felt so good to be back and serving others. Dad is doing way better than they thought. He's a super hero.
Feb 9th was Dave Jennings birthday. What a great guy. We love the way he takes care of his family. They enjoy so many family trips and activities. He is a man who honors his priesthood which is so important to us. We are so glad Tiffani found him.
Feb 13th we went to Lone Peak to watch Molly play basketball. She played so well but they lost.
We served in the temple which we love to do. We also love when we go every Tuesday because we are able to do names that Riley, Parker, Kolton, Lily and Camden do before they go to school on Thursdays. Made bread so we could have Navajo tacos for dinner and continue watching the Olympics. What incredible talent is shown in these games.
The 15th we went to Out Back and to the Dallyn Bayles concert at the Scera Theater. (Delayed birthday present) The food was great but he was so amazing. He sang many love songs and included "The Music of the Night" from Phantom and ended his concert with "Bring Him Home" from Les Miz. He so good and even performed those operas on Broadway. His music pierces our hearts.
Friday, Cliff called Dad to give a sister at Cove Point a blessing. I love that he is worthy to do that at a moments notice.
The 17th was Aunt Julie's birthday. What a special sister. Dad said she is 66 years old and only had one spanking and he gave it to her. She is a great lady of faith.
After being enlightened at church Scott called to see if we wanted to go to their home for dessert. Hello! Of course we wanted dessert but more than that we wanted to be with the family. While we were there it started snowing. Ava and Nixon immediately got on the tramp and started jumping.
The dogs were so excited. Rowan just had so much fun watching from the window and having the others throw snowballs at her. It was a fun evening and the dessert was so yummy.
Tuesday we started by going to the temple which we love doing. After the session, we picked up Dad's truck as it was being repaired due to Dad hitting a parked car's rear view mirror, bought some donuts to give a girl from North Carolina who is in the MTC, Sister Massey. (We love her family in Caswell) We took them to be mailed and other errands. That afternoon a sweet sister at Cove Point had her son-in-law call dad, who is her home teacher. for a blessing. She was very ill with the flu. We were so tired after dinner that we just got ready for bed. Dad was taking his hearing aids out when he realized he was missing one. We were so concerned and looked everywhere. We had been so many places during the day and the snow was quite deep so we started by checking every place Dad had been in the house. Nothing. After praying, Dad mentioned that when he gave the blessing he had to wear a mask because the sister was so ill. He wondered if when he took it off it flipped off. He called and they looked for it, even outside, where they found it. Our Father is so loving and concerned with each one of us that we were able to find them. What a tender mercy.
Wednesday the 21st, after we served in the temple a friend of mine, Rosemary Neal, came to our home. I had written her a Christmas card and she found the return address and sent me a letter with her phone number. She had been baptized in Dayton in January and decided to go to BYU 4 months later. We took the train together in 1962. Her boyfriend in Ohio was baptized and came to BYU the next year. We hadn't seen each other for 55 years. It was so exciting. We visited and then went to the Distribution Center to buy some of the new garments. We had such a good time. It was like we had been together often. She lost her husband 2 years ago and still has a home in Dayton and has bought a condo in Midway. She spends time in both places. We had lunch at Brick Oven which was called Heaps a Pizza when we were students. It was just a great time. We took a lunch home to George. I forgot to take a picture but will hopefully get one before the end of the month because we are going to visit more often.
Sunday's are always wonderful days. All 3 meetings were so filled with the Spirit. We love that. After the meetings Dad went home teaching and I visited 5 sisters whom I love. They are nearing their graduation from this earthly life and I just needed a hug from each.
February 28th was a very special day in that SISTER HAILEY BAYLES RETURNED!!!!!!!
What a great missionary she has been. We were in the temple so when they were headed home they called and we went to her new home. The roof was coming off there was so much excitement. She is amazing as always,

Lauren, Riley, Mike
It was a tight game and it's always fun to sit with family and watch them perform in different talents.
Sweet Valentine's Day. Dad brought me some beautiful flowers which lasted for weeks. I love them and him. It is so wonderful to be married to someone who you enjoy to be with and love so much. We served in the temple which we love to do. She is so beautiful but this was the only picture I could find. It's way old.

Monday, the 19th was Ashers
birthday. He is Erik and Shanelle's boy. What a special boy he is. He is now 10 and loves everything. He is so loved by his family. He tries very
hard to do the right things and loves playing with Legos and anything Star
Wars. He loves sports, tell jokes and
the Cougars. He is so glad Clark’s
family has moved so close.
It was still
snowing so dad shoveled a place on the patio so I could hang up the
whites. I love the smell of clothes on
the line.
We had Scott’s family meet us
at Blaze Pizza for dinner. We will do
the same with the others. We had a fun time with Scott’s family. I couldn’t believe how much Rowan ate. Again, it was fun to be with the family.
He also ran the snow blower

Telling us all about it and showing us things
in her bedroom
great buds
Clark was so excited as we visited in the living room.
What a fun and full month. We are so excited to serve the Lord in the Palmyra temple and have so many things to do. We are so grateful for our children and their little and big ones. That is an important reason we are going; to show by example how important to keep covenants with our Father and follow the doctrine of Christ as fully as we can. Our prayer is to be an eternal family and to love each other always. We so wish we could explain how much we truly love each of you and want you forever.
This is new territory for me! I am happy to let Grammy do all the work on the"blog" . She works very hard on it. It is a labor of love and frustration. She has such a love-hate relationship with her technology. I hope you know that even with all of our shortcomings, that we love each of you. I am thankful that we are an eternal family. Each time we go to the temple, I am thankful to my Father in Heaven for the marvelous gift of the Endowment and the promised blessing of a family sealed together through the eternities. It is exciting that even the "young'uns" can go and feel the spirit of the temple and participate in the great work done there. We pray that you will remember the covenants you have made and the promises given. Go to the temple often and it will be a tremendous blessing in your life. (D&C 132: 19-20)
