THE BATCHELOR PARTY

Crepe Myrtle  Made me so homesick  Love this tree
It took me all day to fly to Columbia, SC but I made it.  My flight was delayed so I didn't get in until 8:00 PM  I found all well and Kristin looking great.  She had lost 20 pounds already.  She is so ready.
Went to church Sunday and had a lovely day.  Their church isn't until 1:00 so we had time to do fun thing at home first.  It was a nice fast Sunday.  Kristin substituted Baylie's class so I went to primary.  After church their home teacher came to help David give Kristin a blessing.  We had pop corn for dinner while watching Sound of Music.  Must be a Bayles thing.

Sleeping with Baylie is a whole new experience.  I have learned many defensive moves.
Kristin's surgery went well and she did super afterward.  She didn't come home Tuesday or Wednesday due to nausea and headache but we hope she comes home tomorrow.
The kids have ridden their bike all day and are soaking wet when they finally come in.  I sit on the stairs and write in my journal, read the scriptures and the Ensign, balance the check book and answer the texts ya'll send.  It's quite relaxing.  The kids have been super and work hard to keep the house and yard picked up.  They're great.
We had fun bonding

I can't believe the room Kristin is in.  It's larger than our living and dining rooms together.  The couch makes into a queen bed so David gets a good night's sleep.

The day before surgery she had liquid then nothing the day of and finally  after surgery she got a few ice cubes.  She is in great spirits though.  What a trooper.  Her tummy has many bruises.  They made 7 little incisions for the scopes.
She went in Monday and thought she might come home Tuesday but the doctor said Wednesday.  She's had a little set back so we are now hoping for Thursday.  Jalen said he missed her in his heart.  He's a sweetie.

Glad Daddy's home too.  Needed snuggle time.

I love that our eggs hatches the day I left and that they are growing.  This was such a fun thing to watch.  I talked to the mother every day.  The nest is very low but the daddy keeps constant watch.

Kristin is a trooper.  She is in a lot of pain and can have 4oz of liquid or sofft pudding each hour.  She needs to just sip it and not eat it all at once.  It's hard to watch the little she can do.
I flew out Friday and hated to leave but now that she's home David can take care of everything.  He's a good man.  I got in at midnight, very tired.
I got p the next morning and headed for Echo Lake to watch Clark and Erik in another tri.  I love being with family.  George had a carving class.  Both boys did great.
Clark and Erik

 Clark off bike and running

Erik off bike and running with Camden and Asher to the finish line.
I think that's Molly in the white shirt.
When I got home I hurried and did the laundry and hung it out.  I was very tired so I decided to read the papers I had missed while gone.  Wouldn't you know, I was gifted with a kidney stone.  It was only 2:45 and George wouldn't be home until 5:15 so I decided to pass it at home since I've done that before.  Well it wasn't real pleasant so I took an oxy-codon pill and another at 4 and another at 5.  I was so happy when George got home.  We finally decided because I was in such pain to bite the bullet and go to emergency.  They're going to know me by my first name if I don't shape up. I had to wait in the waiting room for and hour and a half.  I was so embarrassed because I was moaning and groaning. They released me at 10:00 and said I also had bacteria running around in my body.  I am feeling much better now, just tired.  Boy do I love those pills.
Our Heavenly Father extends such tender mercies continually.  I am so grateful this didn't happen while in SC or on a flight.  We are constantly watched over.  You Dad takes good care of me when something lime this happens.  Maybe I was just running a competition with Kristin.  I can't have her get all the attention.
