THANKSGIVING 2013

I have no idea what's going on here
This week started out with a surprise birthday for Ana.  She was so fun and excited to finally be 5.  Both families were invited.  We love to be with her family.  Ava got her American doll which she had wanted so badly.  A nice dinner was provided.  Ava has been such a fun addition to our family.  She is always ready to try new things and loves to be with people.  She has a very tender heart and just loves her little brother.  She loves any kind of dance and does very well with it.  (I'm certain that pleases her mother)

The next day we were privileged to go to Asher's school for Grandparents' Day.  As soon as we got there Asher introduced us to his friend.  It was so cute.  We helped him make an Indian headdress.  We loved being with this special little boy.
Tiff's family came Wednesday night.  We love it when they roll in.  The kids are always so excited but they did go right to bed, they were so tired.
We watched some football and then headed to Kamas for a family Thanksgiving dinner.  We took 6 dozen rolls and 7 pies.  I don't know what I was thinking.  Erik cooked one turkey and Clark cooked another one.  They were both so good.  Everyone pitched in and brought something.

Three is not a crowd, but 4?
Dianne had their home so beautiful and comfortable.  It was so fun to see everyone and to watch how well the kids played with each other.

If you can't beat Erik, try Riley

They had planned an obstacle course for the adults to compete with them.  It was so fun and very creative.  We didn't get to do it until dark which made it even more fun.

Friday we got up and all met at the theater to watch the new Disney movie, "Frozen"  It was so good.
The best part was watching the kids enjoy it so much.  They ate gallons of pop corn.  It just doesn't get better than that.  After the movie we all went to Erik's and ate pizza.  We have no idea how many were gulped down.  After that we all went to Pleasant Grove HS to go ice sledding.  It was such a beautiful day that no one got cold.  It was a laughing time.  After the sledding the men and boys played a game of football on the field.  They claim it ended in a tie.

Many tired souls went to Erik’s in the back of his truck.

Saturday the girls went to Ava's for another little birthday party while Tiffani and I went shopping.  All had fun.  We got home in time to watch the BYU vs Nevada, Reno.  Erik's family came over to watch with us.  We ate the entire game.  Isn't that what watching sports is all about?  After that game we watched the BYU Utah State basketball game.  BYU won both games.  What a day and night.
The girls were so excited to have their sleepover.
They tried to blow out the bubble lights
They are so fun.  At 3:00 AM I could hear them talking.  I spent an hour in their bed 'till I was sure they were asleep.

At 4:30 I found Cameron walking around.  When I asked him what he was doing he answered, "I don't know"  After putting him back to bed I dropped into our bed.  What a night.  I would do it all over again just to be with these grands.

There is nothing we love more than knowing the restored gospel of Jesus Christ is true and that it is centered around our Savior and Redeemer, Jesus Christ, and that the family is where it all begins.  We love our family so much.  Our only regret was that David and Kristin and Baylie and Jalen were not here to share this Thanksgiving with us.  We are looking forward to Christmas when they will be here. We also missed Ashley and Tyler who were with his family.
